Live Global Earthquake Monitor & Seismic Tracker
Stay safe and informed with our Real-Time Earthquake Dashboard. Powered by direct data feeds from the USGS (United States Geological Survey), this tool maps every significant tremor happening on Earth right now. Whether you are tracking a specific region or monitoring global tectonic activity, our interactive map provides instant updates.
🔴 Why is this tool unique?
Unlike generic news sites that only report major disasters, our tool tracks everything. From minor tremors (M2.5) to major quakes (M8.0+). We also provide a "Most Active Regions" list so you can see which tectonic plates are currently shifting.
🌍 Advanced Tracking Features
Color-Coded Magnitudes
Instantly spot danger zones. Green for minor, Yellow for moderate, and Red for major earthquakes.
Regional Filtering
Click on any "Active Region" in the sidebar to zoom the map directly to that location and see all local quakes.
Historical Data
Switch filters to see activity from the Last 24 Hours, 7 Days, or even the past Year to analyze trends.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How fast is the data updated?
The data refreshes automatically. Typically, an earthquake appears on this map within 3 to 5 minutes of it occurring, as soon as seismographs process the data.
What does "Depth" mean?
Depth indicates how far below the surface the quake started. Shallow quakes (0-70 km) usually cause more damage than deep quakes, even if the magnitude is the same.
Can I use this for Tsunami alerts?
While major underwater quakes (M7.0+) listed here can trigger Tsunamis, please always refer to official local government warnings for evacuation orders.
